Bals Schuko Plug:
This 16A plug has durably 24 carat gold plated pins, that can handle wire-diameters of up to 4 mm² (11 AWG). This is the so-called type F-plug (with the European "Schutzkontakt"-contact). Schuko is an abbreviation for SchutzKontakt, this is German for "rim-earth-contact". In addition, this plug is also usable as a type E-plug (pin-earth, to be used in Belgium and France). All contact materials are antimagnetic. Cables of up to 13 mm (1/2") in diameter can be used.
PS as an addition to the ordinary Bals Schuko-plug, which has nickel plated contacts, there is a 24 carat gold plated version available through Kemp Elektroniks, in cooperation with Bals. |

FIM Model 302 IEC Connector:
This 15A Euro plug (IEC 320/C22) is supplied to us by the American company FIM (First Impression Music). All contacts consist of UPOCC (Ultra Purity Ohno Continuous Casting Copper), 24 carat gold plated. A special feature of this plug are the extemely firm spring-contacts. Due to this, the resistance of this plug will be low and stay low for a long period of time. Cable of up to 18 mm (11/16") can be used.

FIM Model 303 American Power Plug:
This 15A Mains plug is supplied to us by the American company FIM (First Impression Music).Most American mains-related products have American outlets, due to their smaller size it is not always possible to exchange them for European (Schuko) ones. For this reason, we''ve decided to add this plug to our program for the European market as well. All contacts are made of UPOCC (Ultra Purity Ohno Continuous Casting Copper), 24 carat gold plated. Cables of up to 18 mm (11/16") in diameter can be used. Finally, American-made powercords can be upgraded!

Shurter IEC 320/C19 Plug:
This so called 16A "Euro" plug features durably 24 Carat gold plated contacts that can accept wires of up to 3 mm² (12 AWG). All contactmaterials are made of antimagnetic brass. The advantage of brass is, that it''s a so called non-ferro metal, and because of this, it can''t be magnetised by DC on the mains. It can handle cables of up to 12 mm (a little less than 1/2"). This plug is not compatible with the standard Europlug! Not only the contacts are larger, they are horizontally oriented also, while they are vertically oriented with the standard Europlug. This plug is to be used in conjunction with the KE-POWER SOURCE, POWER STRIP, and BALANCED ISOLATOR SOURCE.
The matching inlet is also available through Kemp Elektroniks. It features 24 Carat gold plated contacts.
PS. as an addition to the ordinary Schurter plug, which has nickel plated brass contacts, there is a 24 carat gold plated version available now through Kemp Elektroniks exclusively, in conjunction with Schurter. |
